The Round Diet will make your life simpler, your butt smaller, your jeans looser, and you will rejoice!

Welcome to the Round Diet where you’ll change your view of food, even if you are an experienced dieter. Whatever your relationship with food, this book can help you choose healthy foods by their natural Round shape and help train your mind to be your ally in becoming stronger, sexier, leaner and more fit.

Round FoodsShopping for Round foods is a visually-cued task that is so simple a kindergartner could successfully fill a cart with nutritious foods. You are likely to find yourself casually strolling through your local Farmer’s Market chatting with farmers as you buy fresh and flavorful foods with an environmentally green, low carbon footprint.

Reading food labels will be reduced to the likes of “Golden Delicious” on an apple or “Chiquita” on a banana. You will be free from deciphering unpronounceable chemicals, preservatives and other multi-syllable ingredients. Any confusion over what is healthy or unhealthy food will be as clear as black and white, round or square.

Nature designed a variety of nutritious Round foods, some of which are Rounder, more colorful, and healthier than others.  There is a Round difference between an orange, an avocado, a scallop, a tortilla, an egg, a pie, a pizza, a cookie and olive oil.

As a Round Dieter, you will be able to recognize that Round food equals healthy food, so you can make better choices when shopping, dining out or cooking at home.

Diana Kaaha

As an innocent and hopeful, freckled, blonde tomboy growing up without the diversion of television, Diana spent endless hours sitting in treesDiana Kaaha eating plums and cherries as naturally as any critter in the wild.

She grew up treasuring springtime when friends gave her family boxes of farm fresh apricots, melons and assorted fruits. This rivaled but did not outdo trips to the grocery store with her mother, where Diana sampled fresh green grapes. Spring was a seasonal Round food jamboree, although she did not yet notice the fruit’s Round shape.

Some say that to appreciate the effective simplicity of the Round eating concept is to appreciate the way life blessed Diana. Everything from having two sets of doctor parents, to her obsession as a champion bodybuilder, to a fifteen month healing experience surviving cancer where she made her experiences with chemotherapy as positive as possible—adding up to her unique Round relationship to food and eating.

All this led to a natural preparation for this information designer and mother, working and living at the cutting edge of technology in Silicon Valley, California.

Diana likes to say, "The Round Diet did not start out to be a diet book. It began as a healthy eating book that happened to make dieting simpler. I realized I could diet-down, but in a more sane and healthy way by tapping into the power of my mind and choosing Round foods to eat."

Mary Ann CookTHE ROUND DIET: Diana Kaaha says she had an epiphany in the produce section of her market. Most of the healthy stuff was round, which got her to thinking about devising a diet that she calls, not surprisingly, the Round Diet. Her book about it is called The Round Diet, subtitled Don't Be Round, Eat Round.

Kaaha knows a thing or three about staying in shape because she was a champion body builder in the1980s with four titles to her name. Her main theme is eating often and eating small portions — three snacks a day, as well as three meals. She also urges a daily walk, a daily nap, visualization and a period of meditation.

Kaaha herself is living testimony that her diet works. "Eating Round is how I have stayed fit and how I am able to lose those pesky five to 10 pounds when they creep up on me every so often," she says. She's 54 and fit. Included in the book are exercises, a food regime and menus. The author also illustrated her book with upbeat line drawings.

I love this book.—R. Vigdor
From planning, shopping, recipes and following-through advice, this book gives the reader several information to aide them. I felt like she answered a lot of questions a dieter may have in relation to a step by step guide to a healthy way of eating. I like that she incorporated cartoons and pictures to help the reader visualize the "round" experience. It made it so fun to go through the book. There is so much more about this diet than just loosing weight. It's easy, innovative, and it will keep you healthy. I am so glad I have a copy. I hope you get yours soon.

I think there are several things that I've gotten out of following the round diet.— Carol Weeks-Matzas
I've become so much more aware of portion sizes. It was tough at first, but now I'm able to eyeball a serving and 9 out of 10 times I'm right on the money. I've also become much better at planning ahead. My family knows which specific Tupperware I use to pack my lunch everyday and they stay away from them! I've also learned to love blueberries! I do crave fresh fruits and vegetables and fill my plate with that before I move toward the proteins. I have had NOTHING boxed or frozen since starting the round diet and I have really noticed a difference with my water retention. Keeping away from those products has allowed me to be in control of what goes into my body.

What a wonderful way to incorporate a lifetime of experience!Debby A. Rosenfeld
Diana uses her knowledge as a body-builder, and her meditative techniques as a cancer survivor to teach a wide group of people valuable life skills. Her simple approach, mixed with humor and creativity will have millions laughing themselves to a healthier lifestyle. The best part about Diana's approach, is that she takes away the need to spend a lot of time thinking about food, and for me, that makes all of the difference! This is a book for anyone who is looking to learn simple ways to intuitively know what to eat.

Diana includes recipes too. I can't wait to try her baked eggplant. Once again, she has simplified something that could be complex, into a quick, healthy, and guilt free delight. Thanks Diana, for your engaging Blorts, your painstaking research, and your ever-present humor!

After reading this book you will never look at food the same way again.—D. Goble
The book is fun to read with lots of cartoons and handy tips for dieters or just people looking to eat healthier. It is amazing that now, when I go to the grocery store, I actually feel bad going down the aisles because I know I am supposed to stay around the outside where the healthy round food is. The Round Diet approach has made a positive difference in my life.

Very innovative approach to health and diet. —E. Stauss
This is a well written book sure to capture the attention of serious dieters. It's working for me. It makes me think about what I'm eating — always, because it's clever and simple. It's not the same old temporary fix to weight problems; it changes how you think.

Amazingly Simple & Fun Diet!,— Amanda Morgen (aka) alice wondergirl "mandala"
Wow!! What a beautiful way to reframe healthy eating right back to the way Mother Nature makes everything: Round! This book is colorful, FUN, and oh so practical, not to mention do-able. I recently had a Round Party, where we all brought round ideas with beautiful displays, healthy feasting, and lots of smiles. Eat Round, Live Long! Thank you so much!

I Love this book!!—and it works too!!, —Rakesh Patel
This is one fun to read/view book with a VERY important message too!! It's actually changed the way I eat (something I needed to do for a long time). The author has a wonderful style in which she presents the information and makes it fun to read (a lot more fun that other books I've read in the past)... Check it out and you'll know what I mean!

~  Diana's next book "Hello Chemo.  Visualization Survival Guide for Chemotherapy" will be out soon.  ~

Hello Chemo

Thirteen years ago Diana was diagnosed with an advanced case of Hodgkin's Disease.  Upon hearing of her situation she set out to make her experience with cancer as positive as possible.  Before long, she began visualizing her own brand of healing magic within her own body.

Few visualization techniques mimic Diana's fascinating and unique cast of helpers, where they remove unwanted cancer cells and leave the body healthy and strong.  Diana's visualization methods create a positive and comfortable imaginary space where healing can take place.

In Diana's own words:

"I felt as if I was hired to do a job. I put the melting images to work right away with the chemo I already had in my body.  I imagined hot yellow chemo syrup drenching my cells."

"One image led to another.  I began gathering medical information on my disease right down to my cells and how the chemotherapy would help me get rid of my cancer."

"I could help myself.  I felt in control.  I felt safe."

By visualizing when Diana had cancer, she learned that constantly picturing being strong and surviving cancer activated areas of her shaved-headed brain so she actually became strong and cancer-free.
