From Spiked Up, Ready to Run, Olympic Trials 2008:
"We all got to the line; the last race of the Olympic Trials. The scene was fantastic; they really did a great job for the trials in Eugene. The stands were packed, the announcer was blaring and the crowd was roaring. Watching the finals of the 800 a week before was amazing. I had never heard a louder track crowd before in my life and never wanted to be in a race as much as I wanted to be in that one either. It was all very cool, and now it was my time to race. I was hoping they would get out fast and I could get in the top pack on a line..." ~ Steve Sherer
