Michele Zalesny has been involved with children’s literature her entire adult life. She has written and produced a number of plays and stories for children, was a puppeteer and performer for many years and taught high school English until she retired.

She lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains of northern California with her husband and their little beagle, Belle.
