We All Do Dumb Things

Written by: Dontez James

Out of Control
You will never truly know how you’ll react,
until you’re placed in that situation.

Jack’s life begins to spiral out of control as he deals with the demons in his life that arise through betrayal. The memories of Brittany haunt him, and anger possesses him, controlling his every action. Jack becomes a beast, devouring the streets — taking back what was stolen from him. But in reality he is becoming imprisoned in a lifeless soul.

Dontez wrote this short story after learning that his mother needed a kidney transplant; the proceeds of this book to go towards her medical bills.
